Old Head Records opened in June 2026 and we're exited to bring the vinyl experience close to home. We are blessed with great music in Lexington and the Shenandoah Valley, and wanted to have a spot where folks could come and appreciate music in it's truest form. We bring the vinyl experience back to town. Come Listen, Buy and Play with us!

Explore our setup, enjoy some tunes, and crank it up! We love live, rock, alternative and all kinds of music--we hope to have something for everyone. Enjoy our listening station to check out your haul, or come listen to what we're spinning.

Check out our carefully curated selection of new and used vinyl. We specialize in 180g pressings and rare, hard-to-find classics. We buy collections that fit our taste, and our ultrasonic cleaner makes sure they stay in tip-top shape.

Come in and have a little fun! Take a vinyl for a spin. We're building our instrument collection and hope to be a place where people come to jam and connect.
